About

July 21st, 2009

I’ve been trading stocks for almost two years, but nothing serious. Most of those plays were longer term. After my first few months of trading I began to look seriously at trading foreign exchange and was instantly hooked on the idea. I took a few knocks and had to slow down and concentrate on the educational side of trading. Through my learning efforts I started to become a hard-core chartist. I really don’t like reading news much, but show me a chart and trading gets much easier for me.

As of the inception of this website I am not trading forex, but am working towards getting back to it. Trading forex can be very psychologically intense and downright scary if you don’t have a pre-determined entry and exit, as well as a strategy. Right now I am continuing to further hone my strategies both in forex and stock trading.

Since this is ‘about me’, let me go ahead and tell you a bit more about myself. I won’t state my exact age, but the twenties are over, and the forties are a ways off. I’m a proud father and husband. I am an Analyst Programmer by day and an entrepreneur in my free time. My goals are to create wealth and provide security for years to come for me and my family and eventually get more involved in philanthropic activities as well. By getting a leg up in my trading endeavours I hope to get on that track very soon and over the years build something substantial so that I can insure my families’ future and hopefully help those in need also get a helping hand too.

As far as personal posts, I won’t often get into that on this site, as the focus of this site is on trading strategies and building success via those strategies. I intend to share my activities as well as contribute to my web audience’s success whenever possible. If I write about a trade and take a position, I will always disclose my position. My hope is that we all can grow and profit together. With that said, I want to re-iterate, I am not a financial advisor and should not be followed blindly. Do your own research, make your own trades, and be responsible for your own successes or failures. This goes the same for anyone, from Jim Cramer to Warren Buffett, always follow your own guidance and don’t depend on others to make calls for you.
